Karen Dowell, RN is the owner of "All About You" and leads an experienced team comprised of health educators, nurses, certified skin analysists, derma options specialists, cosmotologists, makeup artists, photographers and business professionals.
The core team, scattered between cental PA and Baltimore MD, travels to clientele from New York to Virginia and consults with medical professionals from all specialities and attends educational programs and conferences to stay current with the most up-to-date health and beauty information.
Individuals are hand selected and trained to meet our high professional standards. We round out the team by choosing sharp high school students with leadership potential. Our new hopefuls are told we expect to be the Neiman Marcus of our industry. If they are unfamiliar with this name we arrange a field trip.
"All About You" is continually expanding to meet your needs. We look to train individuals to work in their perspective areas with some of our seasoned associates. Team members must have a strong desire to help others, and to promote health and wellness. They need people skills and must be responsible. We look for those with integrity and a good moral standing.  Biography – Karen Dowell, RN
Born in Rochester New York, in 1954, Karen learned early the importance of image. She is a graduate of the John Robert Powers finishing school. They stressed that image is not only how you look, but how you walk, how you talk and how you handle yourself in any situation.
Breezing through honors and advanced placement courses, Karen graduated High School in Albany, New York and entered Nursing school. Upon graduation, she joined the Army Reserve under their acquired skills program. When she returned from basic training, a local cable TV station called her in for an interview. The next day she was offered to host and direct her own weekly TV program at the age of 18. The army then sent her to specialize in recruiting and retention. Much of what she uses today to improve Corporate image stems from these experiences and the training she recieved.
Reluctantly she gave up Karen's Korner, to pursue her nursing career in the Washinton DC area. She has specialized in Labor and Delivery and spent years in geriatrics loving her time as a Hospice Nurse. It was a great learning experience helping people at both ends of lifes spectrum. Her time in Plastic Surgery made her see the importance of how someones image of themself can influence everything and everyone around them.
Over the years Karen instructed, produced, owned, and directed several successful youth performing arts companies. Her favorite areas are dance, and theatrical makeup. She still gets invited to teach liturgical dance and Hip Hop for cardiovascular conditioning.
Still practicing nursing, at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center, Karen likes to keep up her skills. She is a nurse in the Womens Center. This keeps her informed on the latest information on women's health issues and the importance to educate those in the community.
Dowell Enterprise was developed from 50+ years of lifes experiences. Karen says,"All of the team members are hand picked to best suit the needs of the clients and all programs are individualized because it's really "All About You".
